Christening The Ship and Testing The Ship
Roseanne christened the boat “NIGHT-WIND”
Charlie’s crane lowered the boat gently gently into
the water, inch by inch, and it floated!
Tom’s home built dingy on top. The dingy needed to be
assembled before it would work.
The proud Skipper / Boat Builder / Wood Worker / Craftsman!
Tom, Mark & Roseanne successfully launch the boat. And it floats!
Only one casualty.
The boat motored through the Erie and the Oswego canal system to
Oswego on Lake Ontario. The following year,
The boat then spent the summer on Sodus Bay, venturing out into Lake Ontario
(as storm clouds approached and small ships headed for shore) for shake-down
cruising to get all the bugs worked out before we went out into the real ocean.
